Build Projects
Cosy Corner
Last summer we had the pleasure of building booths for pupils at the Red Balloon school in Cambridge. These cosy nooks provide a much needed smaller space with in the hall for pupils with additional needs. Spaces are used for 1:1 lessons, to eat lunch or just have a quiet moment.
Original red booth seats were used and recovered to add a softness and sound absorbtion. With huge thanks to New Meaning Foundation who offered us a local workshop space and Dan Sprawson from Lipley+Parker who gave us invaluable help on the build.

Wellness Bench
We have been co-designing a bench over the past year with pupils at Dulwich Prep for their playground. This can be a loud and overwhelming place and this space will create a calm sanctuary for pupils who like to read or talk to friends at break time.
The students have produced some fantastic models that expand and reimagine what a bench can be. These models have been developed into a cohesive scheme that meets the pupil’s brief. The design phase is now complete and we look forward to commencing the build phase.

Single Homeless Project
We collaborated with SHP on their Creative Industries Project that aims to get vulnerable adults who are experiencing homelessness into work.
The project was to design and build tables using hand tools and plywood. The participants showed great imagination, creativity and took great pride in their work.
